14.1.2020: Pope Francis assigns a woman to the position of Vaticans secretary of state. Di Giovanni is the 1st woman leading this most important position in the Vatican.

15.1.2020: US army dumps 10,000s of tons of sand on Florida beaches, in an attempt to widen the beach in and near Miami from raising sea/ocean level.

16.1.2020: Celebrations in Australia after rain coming in some parts of the country, helping turn off ongoing fires and cooling down the temperatures.

17.1.2020: Thousands of farmers have taken the streets in cities across Germany, including Berlin, towards which many farmers drove with their tractors from southern Germany, to protest new environmental regulations with more restrictions on animal welfare, pesticides, & soil.
