10.02.2020: The Oscars this year are making history, for the first time ever, the movie that collected the highest number of Oscars is not English speaking! It was the Korean film "parasit" that collected 4 Oscars this year.
11.02.2020: a snow coat covering the Iraqi capital Baghdad! A city that is known for it's hot weather as its located on the edges of the desert and has an attitude of only 40m above sea level. The last time this happened was in 1918, and ever since then our snowed lightly only in 2008 winter.
12.02.2020: protests go violent again un Beirut, Lebanon. As the parliament is gathering for a confidence vote for a newly formed government by Hassan Diab.
13.02.2020: a scandal news pops up confirming that US & German intelligence has used Swiss firm Crypto AG, which supplied encoding devices to more than 120 governments from the Cold War era up to the 2000s, to spy on those governments through Crypto's devices. Bringing up again also the questions about the neutrality of Switzerland.
14.02.2020: The Munich security conference debuts today, this year the security measure are higher that what I have witnessed previous years, although not many presidents are attending, rather more external affairs and defense ministers. The most outstanding figure this year is actually Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook!

16.02.2020: 40 out of 400 Americans on a quarantined Cruze ship found infected with the Corona virus. The ship is quarantined at the shores of Japan as it was the only country accepting it after leaving China.
A German court has halted the clearing of thousands of trees to make room for Elon Musk's electric car factory south-east of Berlin. Green groups forced the stop, just days after the felling began in a state owned forest sold out to Tesla for building its Berlin factory.
